Marléne Boissonnault

Marlene has outstanding knowledge of goaltending at an elite level. Graduating from Cornell with a Pre-Med Bachelor of Science degree in 2019, she finished with 56 wins (second highest in the university’s history). She recorded 15 shutouts, 1 st and 2 nd team all-Ivy League Honors and a 2-time Ivy League Champion. In her final year with the Big Red, Marlene won the Top Senior Female Athlete Honors.

She has represented the province of New Brunswick on multiple occasions as well as the Atlantic provinces and has competed at the Canada Winter Games. Marlène has also been a member of the Hockey Canada program since 2014, having represented Canada at the U18 and U22 level, and currently making her way up to the Senior level. Marlène is now a professional hockey player as a member of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players’ Association, representing Team Scotiabank in Calgary, Alberta. As a goaltender, recognizes the importance of skating skills as this is one of the keys to her success. She firmly believes in video analysis and edgework. Her calm yet tenacious demeanor on the ice makes her one of the best in the game.

Marlene is a celebrated coach at the Edge School, Olds College, Hockey Alberta, as well as many other teams. She helps players to raise their games and currently works as a coach for Top Prospects Goaltending.
